We are having a FBA done for my son .I was wondering if anyone has noticed improvement after properly applying suggestions and implementing programs.Thank you!
You're welcome. Keep in mind that the FBA is just a starting point. It's a tool used to gather data and form the basis for a behavioural intervention.
The course of action taken to correct inappropriate behaviours starts with determining the function of the behaviour. If the FBA has been done correctly, then it is very helpful in developing an intervention. The FBA is a pretty standard tool to use in finding out what could be triggering challenging behaviours.
I understand this completely..this is his second FBA done .The person doing it really understands this time .So hopefully it will help:) Thanks again!
