My daughter is 11 and has classic autism with a global developmental delay and borderline intellectual function. I know there are services out there but I don't know where to start. Unfortunately there is never just one place to get services. Also in some states the schools provide the services so if you pull the child out of school you run into issues. Now they may still have to provide services but you would have to check your state laws.
I am sure they will tell you that you have to put the child back in school to get them but that may not be true.
Try your local Autism Community Network. Although I have no experience with them, on their website they claim to "increase autism awareness and services for families with an emphasis on collaboration with autism service providers." They also have lists of providers on their site.
