We did DIR floortime and couple of variations of it. It was parent led but we did some training with consultants. It is really more about techniques to engage and play with your child which one should try to do every chance possible. Our primary therapy, however, was verbal behaviour (which is ABA based); however even in VB, our therapists would often use floortime rather than ABA techniques to engage our son. I would recommend floortime if it is led by parents.
