... Can it affect the symptoms after anesthetics wear out? I know this might sound too much like a silver bullet, but for second time we experienced changes on her behavior - for better - after the drugs wear out. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that? She seems for focused and incredible eye contact. That too might wear out by tomorrow but still, I'm curious if we are the only ones ever feeling that.

That is an interesting observation and I've only once ever heard of that anecdotally and that was via administration of IV fluids (to remain hydrated, not sedative). Some interesting info on potassium and chloride in ASD research context below.
