Hi, I'm looking for a pediatric dentist in either Brooklyn, NY or NYC for my son who is ASD. I've been pushing off going because I know he's not going to let anyone look in his mouth, brushing his teeth is a huge challenge and going to the dentist is going to be even harder. Anyone know a good dentist who works with kids on the spectrum. Thanks!
@A MyAutismTeam Member, I'm going to check into this dentist. Will they try without sedation? Just get nervous with sedating my son unless it's not at all possible to do it without it.

I went through the same thing. My son eventually was sent to the hospital and put to sleep for them to do what they needed to. Good luck finding a dentist in your area.
