Home Based ABA Vs Classroom
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have an opinion on which one is better? I am exploring this for my 2 and half year old daughter.

We do a mix of home, center, and community outings sessions. I agree with the PP who talked about the importance of generalization.

I highly reccomend a clinc/classroom setting. Observe as much therapy as you can so you can invorporate at home too. I was told early on that parents can be a crutch for child if at home. It's good for them to adjust/respond to different settings aswell, not just at home. My son has been in clincal setting for 2.5 yrs (since he was 2) and has consistently progressed wonderfully. That's just my opinion from my experience.
