Going To The Movies With A 2 Year Old
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm debating whether to take my 28 month old daughter to the movies. There's a. Summer series for $1. Has anyone been successful going to the movies with a 2 year old? She's not too sensitive to loud noises, but a movie may be too long.

We took our son last year when he was two and he did great. Just think the movie is only a $1 so it is so worth trying.

try anything once, get a bag of goodies in your purse and drinks in diaper bag and make it an adventure

My son is 3 and I haven't brought him to a movie yet. I think if he was interested he would probably do okay. But he doesn't sit still so I'm scared to try and have a meltdown. Good luck!

I agree with everyone prepare to not stay but if you do count your blessings. We also went to movies that were out for a while and there were less people at them. We are lucky in our area they actually have sensory friendly viewings where it is not so dark and the audio is not so loud.

Back aisles are good. Be prepared to leave if you have to and don't be sad if you have to.
