Medicaid in Texas does not cover ABA, wait list for medicaid waiver is extremely long (10 yrs or more). Texas is not a good place for a child with Autism. Best cities, should you decide to move, are Austin (Round Rock schools), Dallas and Houston.

I have heard bad things about Texas from a few people but others say they are getting better. The main issue I hear about NY is that the cost of living is very high. I do not hear a lot of complaints about the services mainly the cost.
