If you are looking for the schools to give you everything you need in Florida it is not going to happen. The state is also not good in regards for services outside of school. If your child needs a lot of services I would not go to Florida. The best services are in the northern states with a few others mixed in but the South in general is not good. I moved five states for better services.
In Florida it will vary, depending on the district...I live in Tampa, they typically do separated classrooms for younger children. The speech and OT are typically about the same amount...I will say you may have to insist and fight for OT, because some districts are so short-staffed, that they try to cut it once children get to about 8 or 9..unless the parent specifically says.."WE WANT OT"
