My son in 19 and I think within the next couple years he should move away from home and me (his enabling mother) He'd grow up more if he were away from me. I'm sure he won't want to move. Any parents out there ever go through this? What worked? What was the outcome?? Help!!

My son who is PDD has lived on his own for a long time yes sometimes we've issues in the past. Now I've a lot of supports with an agency/social worker and caretaker/buddy. He lives in a HUDD building and takes the bus/subway to work. He takes care of his apartment etc.

I'm not sure where your son is moving to and I guess who have already checked it out etc.
