Does anyone have a toddler who has been prescribed sleep aides? My pediatrician put my son on Guanfacine. It worked really well for him.
Lashr1999- We tried melatonin and it didn't work for her. She would fall asleep in the first few nights, and then it stopped working for her at the max safe dose for her.
Check with your pediatrician if melatonin may work. For many it does, a lot of parents have told me. For my son who is 5 now it seemed to work at first but after awhile he seemed to break through and actually was hyper through the nigh. We stopped it.
We've done the aromatherapy with deep tissue massage like both her neuro and therapist suggested to no avail. White noise used to work as a baby, but now it's almost like it causes her pain. The ketogenic diet was a major fail. It didn't seem to help her in any way at all. And her neuro and ped instructed us to stop, and go back to her regular diet.
Have you tried massage with aromatherapy with lavender, white noise? Have you tried a ketogenic diet on her?
