My son has bit my belly before with my other son Amearè and I Try stopping him and say no bitting my pregnant belly. His father would be the on stop him and told him not to do it. Now the father is Mia must of the times and visit a few times. When Jamear bit me on the pregnant belly and I say no he does not do it again. But the next week he will do it. It's had four times this mother. What can I do to stop him?
I would try a few things, depending on his temperament. Heres the main point, he has to learn how to follow instructions and it begins with yours. Once he gets in school he will already understand this if you teach him first. The first thing I would do is stop him before his head ventures toward your belly. Then firmly tell him with eye contact "NO, this is not nice to mommy or our new baby". If he doesnt stop, then he would get some form of time out, punishment or take away something he enjoys for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes is up, I would explain to him why he was on punishment or restriction and that if it continues he will go back on it. What you dont want to do is pop him. This will teach him to hit and you dont need that in school.. Good luck!
