It is possible that my son's toileting woes are due to encopresis. I'm trying to get him regular in the hopes that I can help him complete his toilet training. Has anyone out there been able to do this with a teenager or adult?

we just moved back from a long stay in the middle east and our son is autistic with ID and he is now 25 years old. we live in virginia now and looking for any program that can help us place him even if it is a private as all the state funded has a long waiting list. so we can pay for his placement until such time we get the waiver approval. please help us if you you have a name or a resource of a consultant to guide us through

We started a course of treatment and we wonder if other parents have tried such a program and what results you achieved through it. I don't want to stir up a treatment controversy, just wanting to hear from parents what program you tried and what your results were.

My son has ASD and LOVES to sing and listen to all kinds of music. Sometimes he dances.

How do u know if your child needs ABA?

My son who is almost 15, has a new friend at school that he wants to come over and hang out or sleep over. But my son is grounded per say until he cleans his mess up in the den, his bedroom, and his bathroom. This is his first school friend, should I clean it up so he can have company, or keep waiting for him to clean it up? What do I do?
