I know this is late but my son had terrible aggression with Tenex. Then we switched to it intuniv which is supposed to be the slow release version and it was amazing. My son started holding a pencil, talking better, and had overall improvement.

We also use guanfacine, only 4ml a day. Does seem to help with hyperactivety & mood.

It worked for G for a while to help him with focus and anger control. Now he takes Intuniv instead. The thing I didn't like about Tenex is I had to remember to give it to him three times a day.

So we use Guanfacine ER, same med but extended release. The doctor split the dose, 1 in am 1 in pm. It has helped curb some impulsiveness, really helped on perseverating and has overall helped his hyperactivity.
