My 5 year old twin sons, especially A, purposely avoid and ignore me. Not 24/7 but multiple times per day. For example, if I say 'I love you', A almost says it back but stops and says he loves Nana, or mom (I am mommy), or grandpa. If I attempt to cuddle, I feel them lean into me (they feel content and comfortable), then (without even moving) "Where are mom?", "I want Nana!", "I don't like you".
