My son is now 14. There are days when I understand why some mothers in the animal kingdom eat their young ;)0

Hmmmm....I am trying to prepare myself for all that lies ahead. I started seeing a talk therapist, my general Doctor also prescribed the lowest dose of Zoloft for my anxiety, which is helping and I've found an excellent, cool male coach from our neighborhood children's gym to be his babysitter/trainer at the gym and on the basketball court. My son, who NEVER wanted to touch a basketball has actually joined in the playground games and is feeling so much more confident. He also gets a break from his sister and I don't have to play referee for 3 days, 3 after school hours. He still gets mad at me, but for now it's working. Wish us luck! Good luck to all of you.

My son started getting angry and agressive at about 11. I was able to manage him then. But as he got older and stronger it became very hard.

Worst years of my life, extreme aggression, pain from periods, didn't understand what was happening. She was about 14-15 when I put her on her first med. that was 15!yrs ago. Much more pleasant now.
