My family and I are moving to Pennsylvania from Florida in early January. My son is going to be 4 years old and is in pre-k. His next IEP meeting is at the end of November. The services written into the IEP will not go into affect until we are in Pennsylvania. The school in Pennsylvania is also planning on doing an IEP however the one we bring with us will be active for several weeks. I'm not sure how to handle this next IEP meeting. I've moved to many states with my high functioning son when he was small. Please check all your paper work from the old school system and if there is a something you don't like you can take it out. There was a test when he was first took him to Kennedy that said he was a 71 IQ. He had taught himself to read.
