What are some medicine does not work then what are you supposed to do
@A MyAutismTeam Member is 100% correct on that one. Right now as we speak my daughter is getting OT & socializing at Planet Fitness. In the beginning of the week she asked her sister to go there to work out with her and remembered to call and remind her. Right now they're over there 2 hrs.
Before she went I gave her 5mg of Focalin to keep her toned down. But I'm very sure her mind is right on target. That's because she really wants to build good muscle tone thanks to Spider-Man.
Since she idolized him, I use that to my advantage. Not only with working out, but facing any challenge sent her way.
Any character that shows good courage and strength your child likes, use to your advantage! Reverse psychology does wonders!!
Honestly I wouldn't give my child adderall is a highly addictive substance going more naturally is a better because it the long run when u decide you do want to give your child Adderall and it is recommended by your doctor I feel like they're pushing it because they're getting paid that's just my experience with it and if your child is on it there are so many side effects also they will be going through withdrawal when you do decide to take them off this medication as it is habit forming so keep that in mind before your doc prescribes your child with ASD adderall and think natural remedies four chemicals thanks for listening
My daughter did a lot of research and tried Valerian Root. She gives it to him in the morning and the afternoon. It has a horrible smell so she has to disguise it with cherry Coke for him to swallow it Itβs all natural and it has calmed Caleb down enough that we can teach him and he will sit and listen without rocking and spinning.
Are you having a problem where a med isn't working? Talk to the Dr. Tell them what's going on and they should listen and try something new. We have tried sooooooo many. There are plenty of them out there. Just tell the Dr everything going on and that will help them to find the right balance. Good luck. It's not easy.
