I don't really know how "natural" you would call this but I always rinse with hydrogen peroxide when I get tooth abscesses or any other mouth infections and it does seem to help ALOT. I'm not sure how you would go about getting a 7 year old not to swallow a little of it bc it's really hard not to. I'm sorry she is having this problem. I know how painful infection in the mouth is for an adult, so I know your poor little one has to be in agony. I've always said that I would rather have another child with no pain meds than I would a tooth ache or a mouth sore. I hope she gets to feeling better soon.

If your child has an infection then an antibiotic medication to kill the bacteria is needed. Using natural/herbal/homeopathic remedies that make claims but have no scientific evidence will put your child at risk of the infection getting worse and causing more pain.
