Someone posted on my Facebook that today was the debut of Julia, the muppet that has Autism. I think that it's great to educate children and adults on this issue. I believe I heard that she was in a book already, not sure though.

Good point.
I've got to say Julia was surprisingly plausible and touching. It will be interesting to see how she continues to be incorporated into stories going forward.... hopefully not just as a "autism feature" but as just one of the kids/muppets.

I think it's great. I showed the video to my autistic 14yo and he had a big smile on his face.
I'm not ride if she is in a book already..but I am very glad that they are bringing autism to light for kids and adults through the muttets..i hope that maybe in the future tv stations might think to do the same for other shows too..its a good stsrt.
