I don't live in Oviedo, but I do live in central Fl. and first you need to contact the board of ed. for Seminole County and speak to them. They should be able to give you more information as far as the schools go. I know I contacted my counties BOE and they were helpful. If you do move, I know the school will do their own evaluation, esp. if only one of your children has an IEP. They will not give you services unless they do their own evaluation and the process does take some time. Make sure you have all of your children's medical paperwork together so you can easily give copies to the the school. Also before you move, look into finding a good pediatrician who will find you a good psychologist b/c you may need to have your own reevaluation done in case the school does not feel your child qualifies for service. It will take some time esp. if you move from another state.
