My almost 8 year old daughter is completely nonverbal. She has been to 2 different speech therapists. The first told me she was so severe she didnt know what to do to help her. The second we had for 4 years before deciding to move on. Any suggestions for speech therapists who have posistive experience with nonverbal kiddos with autism? Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi I actually don't know about AR. But i wonder if you have used other ways of communication such as sign language, PECS or communication device. The sign language or PECS, you can do it by yourself as a start.
her old therapist tried PECS for 4 years. She threw in a tiny bit of sign language, but she wasnt having any success with it either.
