What do you encourage for independent play. Be have drawing and puzzles down but can't seem to find anything else she'll take interest in. She's almost 3 and electronics are not an option at this time.
Musicial instruments is a thought. I'd love for her to learn to play something. :)

Would anyone reading this who has had any success getting a one to one aide for their son or daughter at school mind sharing how you were able to do this? Did you have to get an attorney? My daughter is not only nonverbal, but has behavior problems. I am not getting all of the info. I should be about what goes on at school because obviously they are understaffed. I seeked out to my pediatrician who in fact sent me over to other doctors and then once I got it on paper about behavioral problems then I was able to get help from the school.
Been fighting with school for the last couple of years just to get adequate support for my son. Even with the support I don’t think the quality is good. Thinking about moving to another state. Can any parent share positive experiences with public school? Thanks.

Stimming helps them regulate how they feel. I wouldn't try to stop the behavior but maybe help them do it it private
