Moving To Florida

Hello Everyone,

We finally have dx(s) for our 14 and 16yr children, as parents we always knew our children were awesome and it took so very long to get to this point. I've recently moved from Florida, and would suggest that you have identified a great area for services. You may want to look into All Children's hospital in St. Pete- there are great schools in that area as well.

There are really no children's hospitals near Pt. St. Lucie or Palm Bay/Melbourne. You would either have to go down to Miami (Nicklaus Children's Hospital) if you were in PSL or go to Orlando(Nemours Children's Hospital or Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital) if you were in Palm Bay Melbourne. From PSL to Miami is about 1 1/2 drive to get to the children's hospital and about the same from Palm Bay/Melbourne to get to the 2 children's hospitals.

As far as the HS go, you need to call the district and speak to them about their HS.

Can I ask you more questions regarding which areas would be better?
