What Behaviors Does Your Child Have That Makes You Smile?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

So in order to keep from crying, I try to find the humor in some of my daughter's somewhat wacky behaviors. Like when I do her hair, she picks up the shed hairs and puts them back on her head. Speaking of hair, there's no convincing her that hair is an extension of your body and not a paper towel. And she always eats the top of the broccoli and feeds me the stems. :)

When my son is recording himself on my phone he will repeat the announcements that the school office staff say on the school intercom/pa system.

That is great...! Humor is a wonderful thing. When out guy was younger and I (grandma ) was sitting next to him for dinner(parent's got a brief reprieve) He tried to sneak the bites between his knees. so i said " oh, i think someone is trying to fool me with a smile on my face" so it was then i realized he had a sense of humor and could be "teased". Would love to get my daughter and SON-I-L to relax a bit. so good for you!
