Does anyone have double coverage on medical or dental insurance? We currently have insurance paid for through my husbands job, I'm wondering if there would be any benefit to also get insurance through my job? If you get additional insurance, yours will be considered secondary. They will fight with each other to see which one was in place first. You won't have to usually do co-pays as the secondary will pick that up. As far as covering procedures and benefits that the first one does not cover, that should be ok but ask HR to be on the safe side. I was doubly covered with two PPO's and that was great the short time I had it. Congrats that you even have a choice. Most do not.

Another idea I'm considering is keeping the Kaiser HMO with my husbands job and getting different Anthem blue corss PPO plan with my job to hopefully be able to see some DAN /holistic doctors? Not sure if it would be a good idea or not?
