My son will soon be 18 and he does not work. I want to find out if he would be able to get financial assistance.

you should be entitled to disability which is now called pip personal independent payment i have this for my son who is 17 non verbal and does not work the doctor should help you with home therapy and training i a getting this thru the doctor and you should be entitled to carers allowance at £69 per week

I think it also depends on the state you live in. Age? My daughter is 7 and was originally PDD-NOS but probably never work or live on her own. I don't think it's available in Georgia, Texas or Massachusetts because no one ever brought it up.
