A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Question:Any one with nonverbal ASD kids noticed an increase in vocalizations and talking when given Vitamin B Complex or any vitamins?

Research how the gut is thought of as the root problem of autism. My son is not nonverbal, but had a very restricted vocab. After researching for weeks, I started him on a nightly 15billion CFU probiotic. It has done wonders with his stomach and along with 2 other prescription meds has helped tremendously.

I will be starting this regimen within the next few weeks - probiotics & omega 3 w/EPA & DHA. Not hoping to "reverse" his autism as this title says, but am hoping that it will increase his learning.

I gave my non verbal son vitamin b shots for awhile but I didn’t see much of a difference. I saw more changes when I changed/eliminated things from his diet. He increased when I added cod liver oil and multivitamins along with cutting processed foods and all foods with dyes, additives or processed sugars.
