I have 10 year old twin boys - 1 with HF Autism and is in inclusive classroom with two teachers(1 general ed and 1 sp ed) and a shared aid and another one in self contained ABA classroom. We are contemplating about moving to Dallas area in Texas. heard that Plano or Frisco school districts have decent services for Autistic kids. We are considering moving because my husband's workplace is shifting a few positions there and asked him if he wants to... No problems with the school district in nj for us. Excellent services here

Can I ask why you are looking to move out of state? Are you relocating for your own personal reasons or is it because you have had bad experiences with your school district, or you feel the programs offered to your child is not meeting his needs. I only ask because we lost quite a few of my sons friends too - the parents left the state due to frustration with dealing with the school district or programs/IEP's not addressing their child's needs. Just curious.

I’m from Texas but not from the DFW area and have no idea about the public schools. I came across a post somewhere that said good things about two private schools around there: Great Lakes academy and focus on the future. You could look at their website. I can’t remember the specifics
