Los Angeles :( ABA coverage is easier to get in CA because of state laws. I don’t know about Texas. You might look into an ABA center like CARD

We found a religious daycare where you bring your own lunch everyday. That way you can pack what he eats. However, we send our own 1:1 aide (ABA therapist) because his needs are so great that he can’t really function well on his own without one. In other words, he might be in a corner ignored. Without constant attention he stays off on his own and will not follow directions. He has made good improvements this year. The school staff have a lot of patience and compassion.

Is your son signed up via the school district for special education preschool they got from 3 to 5 yrs old... he needs to be evaluated there but they only go half day. As for daycare I am not sure where you live but the special ed preschool might be able to direct you to some daycares they work with.

Hi Ronda, our son is 8. We are in Leander. I do not know of any daycares near you but I would be happy to share our journey. Our son would not eat either. He is much better in many ways now through many interventions. Email me and I will share we have learned and local resources. Preferably by phone or tea because I get tired of typing.
