Yes. Can not take any stimulants but one .risperdal made him mean and he had tics or dyskenesia

Is your son on risperdal ? I gave it to my son for aggression due to autism.

No he was only given Risperdal 2 mg for over 13 years. We only seen this awful tics when he was tried to be removed and they gave it back to him because of the awful tics...and he couldn’t sleep for 3 days. He had a procedure and went under general anesthesia and few days later even though he is taking the Risperdal the tics came back. They want us to add congentin but I thought if this true tardiive dynkensia ..congentin can make that worse ...any help would be appreciated . He is 18 but functions like an 3 year old. This is breaking my heart ...I feel responsible.
