Like when he is playing his video games, he will have full blown conversations with him self as if someone is there.

Could be a form of scripting. My daughter say some phrase she has heard or will say in a way that is funny to her.

My 6 year old non-ASD son talks to himself when he is playing. Hell, I use some coarse language playing some video games.

Do your kids watch YouTube? I ask this because my daughter likes to watch videos of other people playing video games and when she plays she talks to herself..when I listened closely I realized she was pretending she was making a YouTube video lol.

My son repeats things as he watches or hears them. Maybe someone is with him. Our kids are sensitive so it may be easy to see what we can't. They see it because no one has put in their head yet things like that aren't real. But I believe it is and what a wonderful thing if he is having a real conversation. You should watch the movie A Boy Called Po. It's amazing movie

See though nothing scared him really. Only thing that does scare him is if I sneak up on him. Then he yells at me not to do that.
