Looking for recommendations for summer day camps in the Washington, DC area for my 5 year old autistic son. He is very independent, however he is non-verbal and he is just beginning his social interactions with his peers. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
We live in the blue ridge VA area, the good think about No.Va and DC is that there are plenty of programs that deal with children and autism up there. I would recommend you reach out to https://www.autismspeaks.org/resource-guide/sta... as they have been exceedingly helpful with our five year old.
