Yes to both...on the hyperbaric/ cooling treatment its the 1st thing they do in hospitals for suspected Stroke victims, the neurological system being cooled prevents more damage.
I got really interested in this believing my son had HIE hypoxic ischemic encepathology (spelling!?l
At birth is blood flow restriction & O2 deprivation. I wish he had been cooled.
