What Phone Apps/games Do Your Kids Play?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son has an extremely hard time playing typical phone/tablet games. He REALLY doesn't understand how to play and that can really upset him. What games do you find your kids playing? We have android phones, but are trying to save up for a Fire tablet. Additionally, we try not to spend any money on games, cause he stops playing them so fast. He has trouble with all matching type games, like Candy Crush. ANY ideas are helpful, he loves playing that phone and it is so hard to find games he'll be… read more

Sesame Street (Cookie Monster help him make cookies and Bert dinosaur adventure.)6 Daniel tiger and Daniel tiger day and night- you can give Daniel a bath and pop bubbles but it’s not competitive- it’s just soaping up his head and rinsing it off. You don’t win or lose but it does help him see normal daily living skills in action.

Bubble pop- not matching bubbles just pop any bubbles that show up.
Painting games- just color however you like ,no matching colors or using numbers just a use finger to make whatever scribble.
These will help him understand more complex games later. Right now no structure would be best.

@A MyAutismTeam Member He has trouble with some of those bubble pop ones too. Mostly because typically you need 3 or more of the same color together, and he doesn't understand that. We have 2 of the Disney Appisodes, but they do cost. Once we have the fire tablet, I think they are included in the monthly payment thingy. And he has just recently started getting into painting and coloring on actual paper, but not so much on the phone. I really hope this fire tablet helps us out.
