I have a daughter whose Autism is on the severe side (level 3) and she is non verbal. She can read a little bit. She doesn't enjoy most of the things a normal person her age would, not even video games w/ the exception of wii bowling. She doesn't even watch TV. She will be 14 in about 2 months, and I don't know what to get her for her birthday. Does anyone have any suggestions? What does your daughter or son enjoy?
Best gift I got for my son when he was 14 is a tandem trike that we can both ride on and we still use it!!! He loves the gliding sensation and since hubby installed an electric motor kit to help me (as Tyler keeps trying to pedal backwards, thus making it harder to move forward) it's been even more awesome!!! I bought it from https://www.belizebike.com/english/TwinTri-Ride...
in Canada. It was a big purchase but I researched special needs bikes in the USA and they were 2K on up but I din't like the styles available. I like this one because it's the width of a wheel chair so we can ride on sidewalks (with care). I also put led lights on it to make us more visible at night.
Would your daughter enjoy going to the bowling alley for her birthday?
Perhaps her own bowling ball, shoes etc, the gear you need for bowling.
Some videos,dvds on bowling maybe.
😀
Maybe some cute bowling shoes with her favorite colors? Maybe even the laces can be her favorite character or you might can find someone to airbrush them or decal them with her name or favorite things...I hope this helps
Well bowling . You answer your own answer . Branch out bowling set out side , encourage a mini bowling get together no need for talking bowl the night away
I forgot to add that we use a softer playground type ball instead of a real basketball. Walmart has those too.
