Just a guess- maybe because of the sound created by the interaction of his teeth and hard objects-? Our son does that too occasionally. In his case, I think it's because of the friction and noises made by the action. It makes my teeth hurt!! =( You might try giving him a chewy- a toy designed for autistic kids who chew on stuff they're not supposed to. Look on Amazon- they've got lots. I searched by entering "autism chew toys."

Sure! Max doesnt like chewy toys either, actually. They have that in common! 😉

He has so much chewy toys but doesnt use them.. hes very sensitive to certain feels of textures. But that maybe a reason why he does like biting it the sound or feel on teeth. Thank for your reply @A MyAutismTeam Member
