I think it’s great to suggest 😉I also think, having a professional speaker come to talk to the students about what autism is. What is the symptoms, potential triggers. What students can do to help, and to empathize more that some children are different. They need to be more accepting ect..
Wow! About 50 cent thinking the janitor was on drugs!! Crazy shit. Your welcome, let me know what you find out about getting a speaker.
I’m definitely going to look into it @A MyAutismTeam Member. Thank you so much for the info & suggestions.
Yeah @A MyAutismTeam Member I hear you. sometimes just being aware can stop someone from being bullied. It reminds me of that news story with the rapper 50 cent and the airport janitor with ASD. The rapper posted a story about the janitor being on drugs. It was later revealed that the gentleman was autistic. 50 cent apologized and donated a lot of money to an autism charity.
Hey! I know that here in Canada they sometimes have speakers from the autism programs that go speak to schools or groups. I think even parents of asd children could go do seminars if the school would allow it? There could be research done about the biological, brain functions as well?
