I have been in Jacksonville, FL for over 3 yrs. now. My son is 26 and is autistic and non-verbal. I haven't found any support groups for parents of children with autism yet. Maybe I missed some and someone else may know of any here? I also want to start one and want to know if there are any other parents interested in being a part of a group that will share ideas, give support to one another and advocate for our children?
My son is 29 he has Asperger's & we live in Cleveland, Ohio and we can't find any support groups either which is a shame especially because I have tried to find him employment through agencies. He is too high functioning so they say to get into programs that would train him & assist him with finding employment.
