@warriormom32-8 years ago we were denied and the person said income was the reason and if I was to get a divorce, lose my home, or job then he would be eligible. NOT JOKING ... so you might have a chance now...crazy damn system!

@warriormom32Hello friend. How are you? I have no funds right now. I was hoping to do on my own if I could.

Attorney. Im going to meet with my lawyer to see if legal seperation would help to qualify and he will handle all paperwork. I was pissed when my husband finally handled something but it was handled wrong. We were turned away for income and I told him always through a lawyer because even if 10 years later (which it is now) that that one denials makes it 3x times more difficult at any point. Going to see what lawyer says. Fingers crossed!

@A MyAutismTeam Member I did years ago- like 8 years ago. Denied because of income. Then when we had a hospital stay the social worker was surprised we didnt have MA Health or disability. She said we applied under the wrong section??? I looked over the website again and again and it looks like it all goes by income. Just curious...if I am missing something!?
