She was suppose to be in Summer school, but myself and her IEP team don’t think it would benefit her, educationally nor help her out socially making friends with her peers. Any suggestions to summer programs near Queens NY?

We both felt summer school wouldn’t give her the help she needed, such as a Para, or the support she would get from her regular teachers during the school year. Katelynn is developing skills in different ways and I want to keep that going. She would honestly just shit down and go backwards.
