You can file a complaint with Office of Civil Rights. It is time consuming but document everything everyday. You will be amazed at how much information you have documented!!
There should be advocate groups locally. The Autism Society has helped me so much!!! If not check ones in your state.
Thank you. I have, but you are right it is time consuming. The frustration in filing and waiting is the lack of follow up or accountability from those who are given the duty to protect and advocate for him. They have actually reduced the support that was in place because of their negilence in follow through with appointments and assessments. They are trying to take my parental rights away because I asking for help. My pain is greater because I feel for my son and what he is experiencing.
