I am interested in using CBD oils for my son, he is on the spectrum and has alot of anxiety. Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't know where to begin. Is it even legal in NYC? What dosing, and a reputable place to purchase? Any feedback would be appreciated

Members shared their experiences and recommendations for managing anxiety in children on the spectrum, with several suggesting alternatives to CBD including Young Living's Frankincense essential oil (applied as a drop on the crown of the head with effects noticed within five minutes) and Hyland's Calm and Nerve tablets as affordable, effective options despite some sensory challenges. Many community members pointed to CBD products that are hemp-derived with no THC, noting they are legal in the US, and mentioned specific brands like Imbue Botanicals, Nature's Ultra Calm Roller, and Charlotte's Web as reputable sources. A recurring theme was the importance of seeking out rigorously tested products, starting with small doses, and staying in touch with other parents to share ongoing experiences and results.

I just started natural vitality calm gummies with magnesium, but don't really see a big difference..I will look into the hyland as well. Do you believe its helping?

Absolutely, I also mentioned on another question that I have been using Hyland's calm and also Hyland's nerve. This works very well and is pretty easy on the wallet. The only issue my daughter has when taking it is sensory, the pills are sublingual and sort of melt into a powdery paste. it only lasts for a second or two, so sometimes she takes them with a drink and it still helps.

We use Frankincense oil from Young Living, It is expensive and you only use a single drop (or two) on the crown of your child's head. I see a noticeable change within 5 minutes.
