My granddaughter is non-verbal, walks on tip-toes, loves anything that spins, very little eye contact. What can I do to help her when she's with me?
Check out Relationship Development Intervention. RDI. They list activities you can do together. If she prefers child lead approach- let her take a lead. As long as she is having fun, she will progress.
I'm learning toddlers love music and things that have color like maybe blocks or balls. Sometimes I just follow their lead , if I see them playing or interested in something..I may point and use simple words or phrases.
What do you mean by the phrase "help her"? What's your objective?
Thanks I will check them out!
