My youngest is displaying signs of ASD. We have had her evaluated once, she was a little behind in speech and language but the evaluator was not concerned. We are trying for another eval with videos of her range of behaviors. My concern is that after watching her older brothers regress that she will do the same. My son was put under for an MRI a few months ago. He had trouble waking up but once he did he was fine & behaving just as always.
Hi I had a dental procedure done on my son when he was younger and I believe they used laughing gas or something to sedate him a bit.
Check with your doctor.

@A MyAutismTeam Member Your funny Pokémon moment is actually VERY normal after anesthesia and the weird emotions.
I agree, look into dentists that specialize in kids with disabilities because regression after certain drugs is a thing I’ve also heard exists.
My daughter has had general anesthesia twice for ear tubes. She was 3 and 4 years old. She did fine. I didn’t notice any regression.
