I love michigan because when it comes to special needs kids.. they jump if you write or email regarding your kids special neess. 3 years ago they ahut down an entire company because of complaints. They gave me crap my kiddos first day. I wrote an email less than 24 hrs later and they started calling me to bring him back.
Make some noise for your child. Iep is a binding contract. Also if you are not satisfied you can file a civil suit against your district...the minute they stop honoring the iep.
Fact..
If your kids school doesn't provide face to face then they have to find a school for you that does and provide transportation per your iep. If you chose online im not sure about the rules but its not hard to get that info.

Is a very stressful time for all of us I am going through a lot of trouble with the school right now. Having a advocate is crucial.

I’m not sure what state you live in but, I may reach out to a disability rights office or something similar—like a clients rights advocate. They should be able to help you advocate for your children especially let you know if what may or may not be available with respect to COVID-19. Sometimes knowing rights down to the law is helpful to use when advocating.

I hope all works out well
