How do u know if your child needs ABA?
It’s usually the recommendation of the Dr who diagnosed. If it’s something you’re considering then you’d have an evaluation done just like with other services like speech and OT

My daughter and 2 of her classmates will soon "age-out" of our state's education program for special needs children. They have "behaviors" that will prevent them from obtaining and keeping a job. There are also no affordable facilities or programs for young adults in our area. As a group we would like to develop a program similar to the one they have at school but lack the funds. I've researched online but was only shown sites to obtain funding for chartering a school which is not what we… read more

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to the site. I recently added some info about my story recently. I am looking to start ABA therapy for my 4 year old son soon. He was recently diagnosed with Autism (moderate). We have visited two facilities for center based ABA therapy in Michigan. Before choosing a place should I look at more than one or two places? Does anyone have any good, bad or indifferent experiences with the Judson Center or Henry Ford for ABA therapy? Thanks!
