She's has always known she had ASD but may not have understood what that meant when she was DX'd at age 4. Always amazes me when people find out they have autism as an adult. Does it matter at that point?

A doctor told me I was legally blind when I was 46. Never heard that before but it just meant I needed glasses or contacts to drive a car. Never considered myself a type of blind when I considered that served in U.S. Army when a lot of guys in better condition than me didn't enlist.
