My son is using proloquo2go at his school but school unable to give me an access for free, they told me i have to buy my own but i saw it and it's to expensive. Im single mom since I give birth to my second this year. and also Im unemployed unable to work as single mom and I don't have family here in US to take care my kids. Usually the group homes would have to help this person in a situation for right now anyways.
Check with easterseals or the mental health department in your area. Check with you pediatrician to see if she can write a letter to the insurance company to provide a tool for your child to talk. Also can ask school if his device can be sent home with him to use at home. Hope something helps.
You should put him in a group home since the direct support professional has to come in and help him out anyways.
