Did they say why? Do they want her to do ABA 40 hours per week? I ask because this is typical of ABA clinics. Be careful, most ABA clinics are in it for the money so the more hours they get the more money they make. They typically don’t care if you sacrifice school for therapy. I’ve been through 3 different ABA clinics in the past & you’d be shocked by the promises & lies they spew. I hate to see any other ASD parents deceived.

I forgot to mention my son is also level 3 & nonverbal. I understand your stress wanting to get her as much help as possible. I also learned that ABA providers particularly tend to prey on those of us parents with nonverbal kids often because they think we are easy targets who are desperate for our kids to talk. I hope this helps.
